Who We Are

Randy Chatman has over thirty years of medical device experience as an accomplished Senior Management Executive with Stryker, Medtronic, and Johnson & Johnson. He served in key leadership roles in Sales, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Business Development, Reimbursement & Market Access. Randy is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has an Associate Fellowship from the Wharton School of Business in Healthcare Economics.

Niran Balachandran joined ThermoTek in 1997 and has led ThermoTek’s business development and growth since 2005. He is responsible for engineering, R&D, product development, and manufacturing. He also oversees Quality and Regulatory affairs. He was awarded the Sid Richardson Foundation’s endowment for the study of pain management and Niran received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Katie Davis has led Medical Affairs at ThermoTek for 10 years, helping to design products and services to meet the clinical need. She is also responsible for medical business development, marketing, and medical billing. Katie has over 20 years of scientific research and development experience in academic and industry settings. Katie received a Ph.D. from Boston University in Biochemistry. She completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Matt Eden is a CPA and has over 20 years of accounting experience in manufacturing. He began his career at Deloitte working in audit and specializing in commodity capital markets. After Deloitte, he joined the precious metals industry where he progressed to CFO of a multi-faceted refinery. Matt obtained his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree with an accounting specialization from Ohio University.
